Mast Mumbaikar – Run the Good Times…

Emergency Duo Male Angel Brazilian Girl Custome

…is not about being Asia’s largest marathon, it’s about one’s inspirational battle against the odds, charting progress through time, physical extravaganza and will. Life is long – hopefully. But long is relative: a minute can seem like a week when you are running the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon, which is why there are a just few things that seem longer than this Marathon. How long is long? Long as the view of three nations from atop, an icy, jagged peak in the Himalayas. It would be easy to see it is a monumentally inconsequential undertaking: over 32,000 runners, the entire 42+ km, over 3.30 hrs. There is no reason to attempt such a feat of idiocracy, other than the fact that some people, which is to say some people like you, have a need to search the depths of their stamina for self-definition (I am the girl / guy who can take it) or rather for self-exposure? It is a contest in purposeless suffering – to be rewarded. Does a Mast Mumbaikar suffer too? – imagine the Gay Pride in New York City (even though not a run). An exhibitionist? An athlete? Whatever he or she resembles – we are curious to see the most outrageous outfit on 21st January 2007 and cash prizes will certainly compensate for chastening. This years’s edition takes it further online: What you will witness on the Race Day are live mobile pictures from Mast Mumbaikars or Bindaas Bande. Not in the mood to run but you are ‘live’ at the scene anyway? Turn yourself into the Mast Mumbaikar Reporter. Simply send your favourite bindaas bande or mumbaikar picture directly to this blog via e-mail mast@kingfisherworld.com (You can use the subject line to give your photo a title and the e-mail body to add a description) . Oh – you run online only? Let the fanatics sweat, enjoy crackers and cold beverage in your armrest chair while you leave your comments on this upcoming photoblog starting from 21st – Mast Mumbaikar with highest online visits gets surprise coupon…

If nothing, at least its one good way of celebrating your participation ;)
